important information

September 9, 2020
Dear Church Family,
I trust this letter finds you and your family doing well.  Each of us has much to thank the Lord for today.  I am writing to inform you that the Leadership Team has prayerfully made the decision to return to the Church for in-person worship beginning Sunday morning, October 4.
We are going to return with the same service schedule as now.   Sunday Morning Worship will begin at 10 am, and Wednesday Night will begin at 6:30 pm.   As time progresses, we will transition back to Sunday Night Worship.
To provide a safe environment for worship, we plan to do the following things…
  • The pews and carpet in the sanctuary will be cleaned and properly sanitized before we return for in-person worship
  • Reem Halo’s will be installed in the duct system of the heating and cooling system. These are dual ionizers to reduce airborne particulates (dust, dander, pollen, mold spores). They kill up to 99% of bacteria, mold, and viruses.
The zinc ions kill 99% of viruses on surface.
  • The pews will be marked off to allow for proper social distancing.
  • The entry doors will be opened at 9:30 am on Sunday morning and 6 pm on Wednesday night to allow you to enter without touching doorknobs.   Our greeters will be stationed at these doors to assist you.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available as you enter and exit the services.
  • Mask are encouraged as you enter and exit the building.   Once you are seated in the sanctuary for worship you can remove your mask at your discretion.
  • We will exit the service in an orderly fashion allowing social distancing as you leave the building.   Our ushers will assist as we exit.
  • As you exit or enter the building please do not congregate in the foyer areas to allow for proper social distancing.
I realize that this is totally different from what we are used to doing.  But our desire is to keep our church family as safe as possible as we return to in-person worship in the sanctuary.
We will finish the remainder of the month of September at the Bible Camp.  Thank God in His Providence that He provided for us this place to worship during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Lord has allowed us to enjoy great times of worship at the Camp and graciously added to our church family even during this pandemic.
Remember in the days ahead…
  • Manna on The Mountain will be held at Grace Tabernacle…September 14-17
  • (6:30) Nightly Monday - Thursday / 10 am Tuesday and Wednesday
  • 2020 FALL CAMPMEETING   September 20-23   Evangelist Tyler Blue
  • Sunday 10 am & 6 pm / Monday – Wednesday 6:30 pm
  • OCTOBER 4 (First Sunday back in Sanctuary) it will be an APPRECIATION DAY for our Children’s, Youth, and Young Adult Pastor.   We will be recognizing and honoring Brother Brett and Alison, Brother Jeff and Shainah, and Brother Phillip and Iveigh.
As I close, let me thank you for all the PRAYERS, calls, texts, cards, food, and visits that you have given to Annette and me during my surgery and recovery.   The love and concern that you have shown us during these days has blessed us greatly.  I am thankful that the Lord has provided for us good men that have preached great messages while I was out of the pulpit. But with great anticipation I look forward to being back in the pulpit on September 27.
STILL thankful that the Lord allowed me and my family to stop by New Home Baptist Church on our journey home!  Please remember…THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
Because of HIM!
